Ach, I'm back, I'm finally back, ya-ay! Tea for everyone at my expense!.. Ahem... what I want to say, that my trip finally is over and today I can make some nice comments for your charming illustrations - you deserve it.
Have I ever said that I like Joseph quite much? In case if I didn't, then I'll do it right now: he is one of my favorite mmembers of "Dark Mate Clan", and I actually have plenty of reasons to like him; here a couple of them:
1. He was born in seveneenth century, but participates in tale that's happening between 1837. and 1901.
Why, you ask me? Well... I have mentioned a couple of months before that I really like ghosts from not-incredibly-scary stories (for example, like "Christmas Carol" or "Hamlet"), made in somewhat "mild horror" genre, and, in many of them the main characters/phantoms have lived most of their lives in other centenary (or at least decade), only to come to the alive characters who are somewhat "futurer" then ghosts themselves.
2. He is a composer.
Well, the good ol' Clasicism was one good epoch for many music geniuses to be born, wasn't it?
3. He reminds me of one of my OCs.
Yeah, that's right - Joseph actually bears some similarities with one of characters from my original stories that I have made before (if you want, I can tell you more about him), and because of that seeing your pictures with participation of that member of "Dark Mate Clan" is twice as delightful.

I also really like the way in which you have made him look on this picture - I always hoped to see him in a "close-up", and it has finally happened; thank you, dear colleague!
